Jago,

Attached is the Hartford Hospital "Brain Death" protocol. Perhaps this
would help.

To all of you on the list - and I do mean ALL - please let me take this
opportunity to wish you, and your families, the most joyous, healthy and
peaceful of Holiday Seasons! May we all be guided in our mission to
relieve pain and suffering in the best was we know how, and may we all
be blessed with the best of family, friendship, and health.

Ron

l suppose that the only unsurvivable injury is the one that shows sings
of
non cerebral active circulation or massive brain tissue
destruction,for
example medulla oblongata contusion or massive haemorrhage, and
therefore it
is likely inaccurate to distiguish unsurvivable injury from cerebral
death,
and very dangerous field due to easy misdiagnosis if rigidly using
these
dgs.
maybe if someone who knows precise definition of those terms should
clarify
them for us who don't
