trauma activation and stratification

We rely  heavily on our pre-hospital reports,


I totally agree, but the trauma program cannot be held hostage to automatic  
trauma activation by an over defined EMS trauma activation system.    It is 
the best sure way to destroy the trauma system.

At ETMC in Tyler, we acknowledge the report, however, WE determine if it 
results in a trauma activation
