Request for Research Project

Angela,
Pret is correct, the ACS list is probably the best way to go. In Texas
level III's and level IV's are not verified by ACS. The are verified
under separate criteria established by the Texas Department of State
Health Services and the surveyor's are trained by DSHS to state
standards. There are 182 level IV's and 42 level III's in our state.
Arizona is another state that I am familiar with and in that state a
hospital merely declares itself a trauma center without any official
survey or verification.
