Is the "ATLS Student Course" the TEAMS course?

B. Medical Students 
The ACS COT recognizes the value of incorporating the A TLS Program into
medical schools' curricula, ie, in the last year of training. The purpose of
offer¬ing the ATLS Student Course to medical students in their final year of
training is to orient them to the initial assessment and management of the
trauma patient before their entrance into resident training or internship.
Further information about conduct¬ing an A TLS Student Course for medical
students in their final year of training is included in Chapter 3, Student
Course.
