IO use in Hazardous Environments

You'll get no more or less debate for these than for any other
applications. IO, for lack of a better comparison, is like global
climate change, or the earth being roundish: you either believe in it or
you don't.

For those of us in the former group, these seem like perfectly
reasonable -- even advisable -- uses.

Subject: IO use in Hazardous Environments

Is anyone exploring the potential of using adult and paediatric IO
systems
for vascular access for the delivery of countermeasures at a CBRN
incident
(constraints of PPE) or the management of crush syndrome (in a confined
space/USAR environment)?

Any observations/comments on or off list would be appreciated.
