There used to be a guy at Shock Trauma in Maryland who gave a great talk on
the mangled extremity. He put together a special response team for on-scene
extrication of extremities for salvage. 1st problem, I don't recall his
name. Second, I looked on their website, but none of the names rang a bell.
I heard him talk at a trauma conference in Kansas City a couple of years
ago. I would think, could you find him, he would have the goods.
