HELLO is right!  The problem is that we have started to turn out a new generation of staff surgeons - all of whom have been educated and trained under the new rules that dinosaurs like you and I don't understand and won't work under.

Where oh where is the Staff Surgeon, the Faculty.     Residents are merely 
faculty extenders.   In the absence of a  resident,  and for ANY decision of the 
resident it is the faculty who is  responsible.      HELLO.
