What can I say - great minds, after all (tongue firmly in cheek). Now I must just beat you to the patent office, so I can claim the royalties. If you protest, we can collaborate - the Hofmeyr-Hardcastle Handy Holistic Homemade Hinfusion Hanger.

(Clearly I must be post call)

Hi all

Throughout my trauma training as a student (under the now renowned Tim Hardcastle) we had certain truisms (many of which I have come to realize were originally Mattoxisms/Brohistic saws/ERF instances). One standing offer was the use of an intercostal drain trocar on any student or doctor foolhardy enough to use one in the course of treating a patient - the blunt dissection method being preferred, of course. I became proficient at this method, and it has served me well. However, in our resource limited and overloaded system, I can to thinking that this humble device may indeed have merit. Thus, I present to you, the homemade, humble but holistic Hofmeyr Hanger (see attached pictures, terms and conditions apply, patent pending in all states with a sense of honour).

Yours in African medicine,
Ross.

PS- The process of production is simple. Leatherman sold separately.
