Growing Indications for TROCARS from Chest tubes

Actually I find the trocar quite useful as a stylet to place the chest
tube AFTER you pop in with the clamp -- back the point into the tube so
nothing sharp sticks out and it makes it very easy to aim the tip of an
otherwise floppy tube.

I've also used it to threaten residents during the chest tube insertion
:-)
