Geez, Ron - you need to find a few more motivated patients!!  But then again, I too had the same experience when I was at Bellevue; 6 weeks of drugs, OOPS I mean pain medication, was the minimum!  ;-)

BAck in action 3 weeks after splenectomy! I think not. At least that is 
not the experience i have had in NY.
