I've not seen anything published, I would be interested in sources. The
people that have used it (Stonybrook NY?) say that after the initial furor
died down they found the patients did find beds faster. I can't think of
any rational reason NOT to do this and wish more of us could force the
issue.

Can anyone point me to sources concerning placing non-monitored admitted
patients in the hallway on the floors being safer than holding in the
hallway in the ED. There was a lot of talk about this a year or so ago as
I remember.
Thanks for any help and I am sorry for cross posting, I realize some of you
may get this more than once.
