Trauma in the air Victims wait for help

Well aware sir, the post I thought I quoted described rushing the victim of  
major trauma to the NEAREST hospital, not the nearest APPROPRIATE hospital. My 
 assertion that someone forgot the sad lessons of yesteryear was that thought 
 that the casualty was better off in the loving arms of a facility neither  
staffed nor equipped to manage a trauma patient when one that is was reasonably 
 accessible - by ground or air.
