ammonia inhalants

I'd rather use a dab of artificial vanilla flavor (non alcoholic), maple  
syrup, almond oil or some lavender to test for anosomia. Ammonia in  particular 
has a significant mucosal irritant effect in addition to the  'smell' effect. 
One of the mints, or a citrus oil would be a good  alternative.
