Entertainers and Politics-- Can we EVER forgive or forget?

Ah, but you forgot to vilify The Dixie Chicks, dude!!!
If one has read history, it is amazing that no matter HOW difficult the
situation, we in the US have mended relationships with all sorts of aberrant
nations and people, yet cannot move on with indiscretions in our own nation.
Japan is our ally-- and has outdistanced ALL auto makers in the US with
their Toyota brand. Germany is one of our best friends-- with Merkel
building bridges with (DARE I even say it to this group?!) FRANCE.
People-- we do have more to worry about than a few Grade B actors-- but many
cannot let it go. As it is said-- it hurts us more than it hurts them.

Ask me the Toby Keith and the military story sometime-- a *real* patriot,
eh? Not.
