No problem that is one of the helpful things of the list. I am very very lucky to have Pharm D at the hospital who love to get involved clinically and are available 24 / 7 and feel there is no such thing as a stupid or ridiculus question. I often call and ask what are the side effects of drug y or what is the best choice of 2 agents. Makes life much easier

If giving a bolus it can be mixed in plastic and given rapidly ie over 10 minutes. However the drip must be made in glass as it precipitates in plastic. It is not the saline but the plastic. It is however incompatible with heparin.? this is per my pharmD.? It is very handy to have a pharmD on the service. they always know the answers to the incompatabilty questions.?? >?
