I don't know if this is what Dr. Mattox is alluding to, but when special
people get treated "specially" often bad things happen. We stop doing what
we routinely do and invent new way to approach injuries that are not totally
unique.

I seriously doubt that this professional athlete had more thigh flesh than
many of our trauma patients.

I was not there and don't know anything about the case.
