ideal ER lengths of stay?

For all trauma comers, average time is more like 30 minutes for stable  clear 
operative cases.      
 
The Back door to Elevator to OR was designed to do exactly as I have stated  
it.       We do use the surgical area of the ED  for longer evaluations when 
the patient is "stable" and there needs to be more  information for decision 
making.
