Tranmsportation times

Agreed. Go to pubmed.gov and enter "A meta-analysis of prehospital care
times for trauma" in the search box. You'll be taken to an article by
Carr et al from Prehospital Emergency Care (2006; 10(2): 198-206). This
is a decent start, but more importantly, glance at the Related Links on
the right of the PubMed page. You can drill around all day from there.
Time is the universal performance indicator for trauma. Effective
prehospital management always boils down to Airway, Breathing, and
(systematic) Hospitalization.

(Snigger snigger) Scene time? Transport time? What's THAT got to do
with outcome?
(Ducks as K throws rotten tomatoes and surgical implements)
Seriously, though, there is some good literature on the subject.
Medline the above terms, or ask the lsit for papers (at work now, or
I'd send them).
