I know this may be a little off the topic of "trauma" but I thought I would throw it in the hat anyway...

Subject: Opinions

Hey Yall,

I am going to write an article on qualities required to work high acuity Emergency Rooms. I would like your opinion as peers about the qualities and abilities you look for in a experienced nurse coming into the ER. I also know with the nurse storage, more and more ER's are hiring new graduates. What type of qualities would you look for in new graduates coming into the ER as a new nurse? We all know that these nurses lack experience needed for ER, but how can we make the transition to a working ER nurse seamless?

Thanks, RAVEN
