in the  Emergency care of patients.

We are all talking about those patients that need an operation, ICU care,  
etc, including hospitalization.  While finding a bed in an ICU or hospital  
sometimes takes a few minutes, there is absolutely NO REASON this group of  
patients should stay in the A&E or the EC the one hour to 12 hours getting  tests 
and treatments which are best given in the  hospital.     The EC is not an OR or 
an ICU or an inpatient  facility.
