summer trauma

mmm...24 yo white male on a float trip...decides to take a break from  
floating, and climbs up on a log to dive into the river...only to piledrive his  
head into a rock.
 
Fractures of T3,4,5 result...still moving all four limbs when he was  
transferred to Neurosurgery for repair.
 
Funny part is that he was the one who gave the water safety briefing to his  
military unit prior to the company being released for 'return from Iraq' 
leave.  I'm betting his First Sergeant will have something to say to him when he 
gets  back to base.
