We live in gorgeous Pamlico County, NC. Ya'll come visit!
WATER + EtOH + boating= disaster/drowning/death
Water maladies: mycobacterium marinarum, sting ray assaults, jelly fish,
lacerations, fishhooks
Waether: lightening strike/electrocution
Weekend warrior/summer athlete injures-- esp softball, although also
football, soccer, basketball, horse-related injuries incl falls, stepped on
feet, bites-- and a big one in recent years: 4 wheeler incidents!!
Violence: fights, GSW, drugs (including quick recognition!!)
Head lice, "spider bites"--> MRSA, fire ant assaults here in the south,
snake bites
