Wisconsin Med Flight Crash.

The hard truth is that some air medical programs are demonstrably more
beneficial and less risky than others.
Being that none of us seems to know much about the Wisconsin program,
much less this mission, I urge restraint and respect in the near term.
Three good men just died; asserting at this point that their lives were
wasted is premature and baseless.
For now, let's honor our colleagues and mourn their loss.

Terrible news. My colleague Roy Danks was very eloquent on the
uselessness
of air evacuation in most situations. This seems to be the second such
event
in a fairly brief interval. Will this lead to a reconsideration of the
risk/benefit of air evacuations?
