Dear Jeffrey , I mean Jeff ;)

I like ATLS courses a lot. Personally, I'm an ATLS instructor and some =
people happen to be worried about learning (educators, etc). If a doctor =
can retain more information and for a long time theoretically could be =
treating better his/her patients right?=20

I'm sorry if I stress you out guys=20
I promisse I won't stress you again with stressful questions

Thanks again

CAlster, MD
PS: I took part of the ATLS meeting last year and I was just wondering =
Judith Brasic's e-mail
We shared the same thoughts - thanks RSmith

  Dr. Alster:

What's stressful about it? Admittedly, when I first attended these =
classes, I thought they were stressful, but now I see them as a valuable =
way to learn information that makes me a better paramedic. What's so =
stressful about that?

You want to research stress? Talk to the guy who has a wife and =
children and is 151st in seniority at the industrial plant that is =
talking about cutting staff back to 150 employees. He's got stress. =
Those of us on the list have patients who need medical care. Therein =
lies the difference.

  Best,

Greetings List! It's been a while, hasn't it?

I have a friend who's interested in researching stress and medical =
performance in ATLS, ACLS, BLS and PALS courses. She's a nurse and she's =
hoping to get her phD (or equivalent) soon. Anybody with any news or =
good recent articles in that area?

    Thanks
