One of my friends is a biomedical engineering student and has been given an assignment to look into the issues associated with the use of current methods of ICP monitoring. He approached me for assistance because of my background in critical care and I was only able to give him a cursory bit of information on the problems seen with ICP bolts. That is why I am turning to you all, in hopes that you might be able to provide my friend with some idea of the issues you, as the persons who utilize these devices frequently, would like to see minimized or eliminated.
